Very poor customer service especially when you call in to inquire. I called in to make an inquiry and without anyone picking up the phone I was automatically put on hold. Then attempted to call in again, and again no one greeted me instead I was just transfered to an unknown extension where I was hung up on. What kind of business are you running there? You need to hire staff that is willing to work for you as they represent your business. And it would have been a big order but you lost our business, we are a big company that was hoping to get you to cater us.
Well two things I would like to mention here, first yeah their customer service sucks!!! Especially their cashiers... it's either their giving you attitude or charging you more than what you're supposed to pay. Second, their selling food with molds ( along their cash register you'll find some price-reduced items - and check it out MOLDS!!!) ewww... and their filipino hot-dishes/ combos, you'll find spoiled dishes... I mean, "are you for real, making business with spoiled and stale filipino products?"... YUCK!!! Booooo to FV!!!
If you want to suffer from food poisoning - go buy food at FV Foods! that should be their slogan!
its good that we have this kind of filipino store here in canada although kinda far but its ok.the staffs are good and friendly. whenever i missed filipino dishes i just come here and grab what i want. i just hope that you will be opening a branch near to my place (ajax)

We are frequent buyers of fv goodies at Warden and Eglinton. However, three weeks ago, when we were paying at the cashier, my cousin asked a very simple question to the cashier if the pandesal she ordered was freshly baked and the cashier replied very rudely in a tone insinuating how stupid my cousin was. While my cousin chose to ignore the incident, I called her attention and advised her to answer all customers courteously. She replied she did and had the audacity to lie that she used the word "po" which infuriates me more. I left the premises very upset and have not been in the store since.
The store is selling a 2-day old cooked food. customers should be careful when buying bread or pastries be careful of expired product on the freezer and sealed produce on the shelf especially those ones with a double expiry stickers.

It's more than a rip off. The prices are highway robbery. I know they import it from back home and some are locally produced, but still, if you want good quality food/pastries, just go to a local Asian store and have your fill and still feel not ripped off.

FV Foods should be boycotted by customers who have care for others, as they sell old foods and never accepted any mistakes that they were responsible for. If you found out that they gave you any food or sweets with molds or not yet fully cooked, when you return it to them, you will be the one be blame for sure. Arrogant and unprofessional staff. Will never buy there again.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE LIKE THIS PLACE. CASHIERS ESP IN BATHURST/WILSON IS ARROGANT AND RUDE. OWNER OF THIS STORE SHOULD EDUCATE OR GIVE TRAINING TO STAFF REGARDING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I wrote a comment not long ago but wasn't sure if it went through or not so i will write it again.
I went to your store on a monday early evening, april 30,2012 and bought some of your merchandise. One of them is the cheese roll with expiry date of may 5,2012 but when i was about to munch them this morning with my coffee, they have molds and its just may 2. My point is i hope you guys put the real expiry date on your merchandise and not lie about it just to make money. I also hope that you will go through your merchandise to check on them if they're still edible. Thanks and don't worry i don't look forward for any refunds.
August 27, 2012 i bought a pack of "puto" and a "leche plan" sooooo disgusting It has a mold so Grosssss!!!!! im not recommend this Filipino store they selling old food time to call public health to complain watch out FV food!!!!!!
One time a glass of "buko-pandan" that we bought had molds and was already hard. Today, we bought "ulam"- bakareta and pork steak. I guess the manager had trained her girls to serve small portions of meat and more of onions, potatoes, or carrots. Hey! I didn't buy "carrots with beef", I paid for "beef with carrots". Pork steak? - we got lots of onions in sauce with 3 small slices of pork! If you buy a large dish, they will give you "large container with medium-sized dish inside". If you buy medium, they will give you "medium container with small-sized food inside". So dear friends, don't bother to go to FV Foods. Too expensive! and madaya!
We ordered birthday cake with specific instruction and last minute when we're ready to pick up they inform us that the cake we order was given to sombedy else (probably they know the person pilipino ways). replace it with different cake with different flavor ,they inform us on the spot that you don't have a choice it's an ambush . this is absolutely true foods are moldy. there is no quality control. one time i bought some mamon and i was actually happy they were selling them half price then when i was about to eat some i noticed the expiry date was on the same day i bought it so then i went back and wanted to tell them about it the fat ugly cashier said that " i shud have consumed it the same day i bought " i was like are u stupid!!!! oh well,
just one of those days i hope they their train their staff properly and not act like they work in the mountains with too much attitude they need to smile a lot really!! food is not that good!!!
I am a stupid avid fan of their hot pandesal although most of the time when it's not too soft it's hard as a rock and obviously their not fresh. My family ran a bakery back home so I know the difference of freshly bake and not and all their foods are old also their ulam and dessert. One time my daughter bought s combo 1 that is rice and tinola the stupid server is trying to fit the poor chicken leg and 1 piece of papaya in a styrofoam glass.I was so mad of that server because where paying the right price and their not serving the food in the proper container their like feeding animals. I don't recommend FV foods staff are rude no manners and so dirty.
Agree to the review. One time we bought Magnolia cheese. that day I put in our fridge because I am not using it yet. After 2 days that I need it I open the box and open the wrapper the cheese is already moldy. Same on their kakanin we bought some and the following day there is already mold on it. Not Good.....Food are expensive

I have to agree about the barking. She isn't the only one in that department who does it, but by far, the worse. And this has been going on for years, and they've lost many outstanding employees because of this.
I've just been to FV Foods and will not be coming back there. Expensive food and dishonest cashiers. Yes, they always charge you more than what you're supposed to pay. They did it to me before and did it again today. Previously I thought they were just making mistakes because it was very busy but today I made sure I memorized the prize of each of my take out order and was surprised that they overcharged me again. FV Foods is run by dishonest evil cashiers! Avoid it.

I ordered a cake for my son's party. When I cut into it I noticed they gave me a vanilla cake and not an ube. I went back to the store to complain and return it but they said because I cut into it they can't resell it. Therfore I cannot get my money back. First off how can they resell it if I a) took it out of the store b) it had my son's name on it. I was so mad bc I even had the paper they gave me which in fact stated ube. I complained to management and they did nothing. If I wanted to vanilla cake I could have gone to any grocery store and paid $;40 rather than $80 for a full slab cake.these people r so unprofessional they can't even admit when they're wrong.
Poor i bought a mamon cake 4 days ago in misissauga location i found out there are mould already in the cake it was scary my kids almost eat the mould and get sick.the cake looks like old stock..not checking there inventory..its also said best before april 14 we open it april 13.. thats very poor quality
they just reheat the food that they sell especially on fv bathurst,pastries has a lot of molds,employee are so rude especially the marissa girl on fv bathurst, i don't know why they hire that kind of employee, guys dont go back on fv again..
Poor, the food is very oily and price is very expensive for combo prices and they give you such small portion and plus customer service is awful.
When you ask the price for the product , they give you different prices all the time. (like they are just making up the price).
Too much pork dishes that look like left over from the day before. Never again will I eat at FV Foods.

The service is absolutely very poor. When I went to warden/ lawrence branch, there was a long line up by the take out counter. I had a cart full of goods and was not buying any take out food. When I politely asked the lady cashier, I was go to the very back if the line. I was trying to explain that I was not ordering any food and was ready pay. The male server agreed with and was laughing. I had to leave and did not purchase anything not because i was insulted. I will never patronize any product from a store where people with bad attitude work.I can't see any reason and logic as to why I ha e to line up with people who had not ordered yet. They could not even figured out what kind of food to choose! I won"t be surprised to see it closed very soon. Kaya kalimitan hindi umuunlad ang filipino businesses kadi they don't know hoe to look after their costumers. FV Foods owner/ management, you better shake it up! Train your staff well! Most of them are poor in costumer service! Most of them have no manners! Ignorant! Hwag nyo g dalhin ang kaignorantehan dito Canada! You need to do something before losing all your costumers. And to those who tolerate this behaviour, you need to speak up! It's not too late to correct their rudeness and ignorance!!
Poor foods most of the time moldy..especially puto, I complained they said it is not expired yet..lol..how come it got mold ..this was in mississauga branch...poor management..
The presentation of their food is good but when you taste it the quality of their food is not worth it and very expensive. They still sell the product even it has molds.
